You mean Office 97, right?

If your question is: "Will Office 97 run on Vista?" Try it.

Then, if it won't install or won't run properly, try the free, and M$-Office compatible, Open Office instead, from:

Included: Writer (like Word), Calc (Excel), Impress (PowerPoint), Base (Access), Draw (M$-Paint) and Math

Just make sure that if you want others to be able to view the documents using M$-Office Word, for example, save them using "Save as..." in .doc format, instead of the default .odt format.

Or use the built-in PDF creation feature.

Hi, Windows Vista only supports Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007. Anything below that won't work. In that case why don't u get OpenOffice, its has many features of Office 2003 and is compatible with Microsoft Office. Get OpenOffice at:
http://www.openoffice.org
I hope I helped.
Good Luck!
