I do not think there is an ultimate truth.Admittedly,I have only "faith"to believe so.There are also "levels"of truth.I imagine people as having video cameras where there heads are,and various "filters"on the camera depending on their life experiences. What the "camera"records is truth, what another "camera"records is truth also, although it sees a slightly different picture, while a "camera"on the other side of the world sees a different picture altogether, and still sees "reality"All of these "cameras"disagree on details.None of these "cameras"are lying. How can this be?Truth is subjective

Even if nothing existed, the truth would be that nothing exists. Truth, then, is the Ultimate, since it does not depend on Existence; that is, even if Infinity were a void, that woud be the truth. Existence, then, is truth, but truth does not need existence. As it is, both are; only, truth has no choice.
I find the question: 'does it (truth) exist?' meaningless then.

As to your other questions: even the unreal exists, it being a cause of real effects. If it is objected that the real cannot come out of the unreal, on philosophical grounds at least, the answer is that, though the cause be unreal ( the contents of a dream, for instance, or mistaking a relative for a burglar at night) the effect is nonetheless real. The experiencing is real. But going deeper into this, was the unreal truly the cause? The dreaming was real (the dream took place ,though the contents of it are admitted to be unreal) in contrast with somebody who did not have the dream, and the fright was as real as though a burglar had broken in.

"Does it exist?"

I think so. Otherwise, all of science is pointless (if there are no absolute truths then trying to figure to prove scientific theories true is pointless).

"Does truth exist only in context?"

The same as above. If so, then all of science is pointless. The speed of light may be constant on Earth but not elsewhere; making scientific research pointless (i.e. relativity is based on that the speed of light is a universal constant").

" If someone believes something that can not be proven or proven to be false isn't it true for them?"

If something can't be proven true or false then it is neither. It is just a guess, assumption, or otherwise. You can assign probablity or weight to the different possiblities, but you can't say it is true or false.

What is "ultimate truth"? I'd consider individual pieces of information to be true and the sum of all true information to be the "truth". Contextual truth is also a form of "truth" as there maybe instances where something is true in one situation and not in others.

As for belief, no it does not effect truth as a person can believe that Santa exists (you can't prove or disprove Santa, try it) but that still doesn't change the truth about Santa, i.e. your believe doesn't make Santa real.

No one wants to know what the ultimate truth is. The truth does exist, but you have to willing to give an ear. I think someone asked "how would the world be different, if we lived in an totally honest world and no one lied?". Sorta sums it up.

Truth is an absolute; something is either true or it isn't. Belief or non belief can not alter the truth.
Foe example God either exists or He doesn't; the truth of His existence does not depend on who believes it or not.

I accept Jesus' statement that He is the way, the truth and the life.

The ultimate truth exists.

But us humans have the concept that we might actually be able to understand it - which we never will. No matter what that truth is.

Even if at some point in our lives we would be faced with it, everyone will have their own subjective opinion about it. And so even the truth is corrupted.

The ultimate truth is God's word that endures forever:

John 17:17 Sanctify them with Your truth. Your word is truth.

1 Peter 1:25 But the word of God endures forever.

No - e.g. lets say that I still believe in Santa Clause. But we all know he doesn't exist. He is a character, made up to entertain children during the Xmas holidays.

Just because I, for some reason, still continue to endulge this fantasy doesn't make my version of reality anymore true.

Yes, it exists, else there would be no word for it or thought about it, right???
In this realm--this Earth place..."truth" is an ever-changing notion...every change/discovery provides each individual the opportunity to embrace it or let it go.

At Home, there is no need for such a concept...truth, in reality, is everything that is created...there is nothing "false", ergo, no duality for conflict...See???
