i have a heading on my page and id like to have a decorative curly line on both sides of the heading. how do u do it?
eg.......


^^^^^^^^^^^^ heading ^^^^^^^^^^^

but a proper one of course.

thanks for helping everyone but yes i do have 2007 version so there is no option for headings and i went to that microsoft link but it has nothing on headings either. please help.

Click to the left of the first letter in your heading. Hit Insert-->Symbol and choose something like Webdings or Wingdings, and pick a symbol to insert. Do the same at the right of your heading.

Alternatively, if you wanted something fancier, you may need to....

Table-->Insert-->Table and insert a 3-column, 1-row table. Put your heading in the center cell. Use the Drawing Toolbar objects to create your fancy doodle, or use Insert-->Clipart and check out the clips online, using the word "bar" for your search word.

Go to Tools >> Borders and Headings... Choose whatever you want. This is only in case of Office version upto Office 2003.
