I believe that all religions have been created for the same purpose: "making us better people." I see nothing wrong about that.
What I am against, is people who use religion as a tool to manipulate others in a destructive manner. Those people are evil. The Christians did it, the Jews did it and the Muslims are doing it. So far, I haven't heard of any Buddhist doing it... Draw you own conclusion.

This is a good question. I am a Christian myself, but recognise that all religion, even at best, is mankind's faltering steps towards the Great Good; or God. As such, the same Truth will manifest itself in different ways depending on the society, its culture, economy, etc...
I regard Jesus the Christ as a perfect revelation of God. Having said that, I am open to their being others, such as Buddha, Muhammad, Guru Nanak, etc.
So I am not actually against any religion, although I am reserved about Scientology as I do not think it was founded in sincerity by an inspired man. Because in my opinion, it lacks these criteria of a genuine revelation:
1. Beauty.
2. Utility/ benefit for society.
3. Rationality [because it breaks with all previous revelations from the various holy men.]
Having said that, I respect the rights of Scientologists to believe and practice what they wish; if they are happy and not harming anyone, then there's little reason to try to convince them to take another path.

HooDoo.
Look it up for yourself......it is the only religion that I have found no good in at all.
note - a common theme of HooDoo is that you are indestructable and whatever you do, it is OK with God from fishing in a river, to killing and eating a baby. As long as you do it and don't die in the process, then God has given you the ok to act that way. It complete negates the idea of people being responsible for their actions.
And before anyone asks, Moses was the Conjuror and the Bible is their Talisman. This religion is a combination of VooDoo (which I got no complaint with as it is protection based) and christianity.

I'm not against religion per se. It's simply that I cannot believe in the concept of a god or gods.

I'm not against any religion because of what it is or isn't. It's the act of people who use their religion to enforce, their particular prejudices against others who are different.

Provided their followers actually live what they preach and present no coercive threats to other, infringe on the civil liberties of those who do not share those beliefs and do not interfere in the governing of the state, no.
Religions that politicise their followers for financial and political gain - such as the Christian fundamentalist right - and threaten the freedoms and liberties of those who do not subscribe to their beliefs are purely toxic.
