Even though I've never been in those situations before (I'm not a smoker), I don't think you did anything wrong.
If that girl wasn't someone you knew or a friend, you should have b*tch slapped her across the face for grabbing your phone.

hahahaha that's fuc*king hilarious.....and rude.......what happens when you're out of smokes and go up and ask him for one some day? i mean, what's one cig? it's not going to break you for crying out loud......now the other little bitc*h should have been slapped because that's just wrong.....but yeah, i've done it and if i know i'm going to be somewhere i don't want to be i'll set the alarm to go off so i can get a 'call' from work and have to excuse myself from the situation.....far more people do this than you would think.....i have a guy that works for me that has 'calls' coming in all the time, but we know he isn't talking to anyone....some people do it just to look popular or important....we took his phone away from him one time and there was nobody on the other end but he was just talking his as*s off....that was the funniest of all....don't feel bad, alot of people do it

When some one asks me for some money,or cigarette or anything else, which I can spare, I normally believe that he/she truly needs it. I give them the requested item.If they approach me for a second time, I flatly and curtly refuse.

the worst part about bums is that they get good people to lie, don't lie, just tell them that you are not the kind of person that gives your stuff away. Tell them you already make donations to charity (if you do) or give at church. but mostly just say no
