Just thought I would add to the Christmas questions, lol. Plus I love that Christmas rush the day after thanksgiving.

I am up at 330-4 ish and in line early, but most stores dont actually open till 5, so technically you arent shopping until 5.

Last year I was at the closest mall pretty early and they were having a drawing. 5 winners of gift cards from 20-500 dollars and if you bought a gift card from the mall you would get to put your name in the raffle. Because I was there so early and there was only 7 people in the raffle I won 50 dollars! It does pay to do early shopping sometimes the day after thanksgiving instead of just going for those sunday paper sales. A lot of free give aways. I guess I just like the rush of shopping on that day.

exchanging presents isnt defiling the day
If you can get a good deal while making other people happy and giving them a present then why not?
My whole family, sisters, aunts, nieces, cousins, does this early shopping thing together. I think he would be happy we were bonding as a family.

I HATE shopping after Thanksgiving. It's weird because I am a shopoholic but I consider it to be a relaxing experience. It just can't be relaxing when there's a gazillion other people shoving into you to get something first. I try to be done with all of my Christmas shopping by mid-November. Anything that's not done by then get bought on Amazon.

It's the only day of the year that I like to shop. It's fun to compete and look for the best deals. I don't think I get to go this year though, boo hoo. I think I have to work all night and probably will be too sleepy to stay up and shop.

I like the party aspect of christmas, but I don't care for the commercial aspect of it at all. I do like to give people gifts, but it isn't due to any spiritual aspect of the supposed birth of an avatar. I do like to observe the solstice though, as well as the other sabbats.

not really, they supposedly have hell a deals but Ive seen better deals in the Sunday magazine, not for this occasion, but for random days, plus the lines are a killer,
what i recommend to do is read the Sunday paper magazines every Sunday and go the unbeatable prices

I don't do Christmas, plus I'd rather stay home instead of being in those crowds of people fighting over things. This happens every year.

way to defile your holy day with rampant consumerism. I seem to remember a story about Jesus going on a rampage in a temple because people were using it as a marketplace, I don't think he'd look too kindly on the people using his birthday in a similar way

I saw plastic Christmas trees for sale at Costco is LATE AUGUST. And they're still there.

Not a shopping fan, I guess I'm just not that much of a consumer.
