Because you have found yourself in the timeless double standart that all women have been up against for all eternity. What is okay for him is not necessarily okay for you.

Don't take offense to it. It probably has nothing to do with a lack of trust in you. I went to a bachelorette party for a friend and my fiance threw a fit. I thought he was jealous, but when I talked to him he explained that he was just worried that something would happen.

He doesn't like the idea of you being out with friends when he's not there to protect you. Set up a system to ensure him that you're safe and things should start to get better.

Also, to ensure that it's not a matter of loneliness, make sure you go out on nights that he's out with his friends also.

LOL he has a double-standard, and it's funny because guys cheat more often than girls do.

He wants to know where you are, 24/7, and he knows that parties are where things happen.

So, tell him that he shouldn't be able to party if you can't. Oh, and ask him why you can't go to the parties with him. Hmm...

There wont b a single answer for that. May be he doesnt trust you. May be you dont trust each other. May be he loves you and he is jealous and he doesnt want to lose you. May be he is selfish for not letting you enjoy ur life. Or may be should just ask him, i bet you will get the best answer. Always remember, a successful relationship is one where there is plenty of communications. Thats the secret!
Good luck.

Because your boyfriend is a chauvinist who believes that men should have more rights than women. He wants to control you and dictate how you can spend your free time.

You have to decide if you want to be in a relationship with a sexist control freak or not. I'd go with the latter if I were you. This road rarely ends in a happy place.

He sounds controlling. You should be able to do the same thing he does without his permission!
I've dealt with guys like him before. It never turns out good.
Also, he may be insecure.

He is controlling. Stop him now or you will be sorry. Tell him that it is like the old saying: "What is good for the goose, is good for the gander."" In other words, if he is good enough to do it, so are you!!!

Just read this question as well as your other one. For one, he is a controlling person. For two, he's projecting things he's doing on you, he doesn't trust himself.
