Ok so after I take a shower and air dry my hair, it's really flat.
Like it has no body at all.

But when like I don't wash my hair for 3 or 4 days, gross I know, It has a really good texture, and I like it.

So in a way, I hate washing my hair.

I would like to know what can I do to it after I take a shower so it's kinda poofy in a way?

Sorry If im not making any sense.

Sometimes its how your hair is cut that makes it flat. A good haircut should take in to account the texture and volume of hair that you have . It should complement your face as well as being cut to make the most out of the type of hair you have. A good cut will solve your problem.

use a volumizing shampoo, suave has one, lots of other brands do too. i know hair doctors usually say don't take a shower everyday because you will dry out your scalp and stuff. but if you like the texture of your hair after a few days, then just do half showers. put a plastic bag over your hair when you take a shower. for prom, i knew some girls who were told by their hairdressers not to wash their hair a week before prom so it can be stronger and hold better.

V05 volume boost shampoo is amazing
but hard to find =(
also u can use a tiny bit of hair spray and a fine tooth comb and tease the roots underneath the top layers of hair then comb the hair back over it so u can't tell its teased but u have body

i found the best thing however was when i bought my ghd straightening iron
i only have to straighten and wash my hair once a week when i use it, it keeps it clean for longer and u can use it to put body in ur hair if u twist it when u straighten it

Put your dry hair up in loose ponytail at the top of your head before you go to sleep. When you release it in the morning, you'll see more lift at the roots.

Switch the way you part your hair often. If you consistently part your hair one way, it starts to get used to it & lay flat.

Pantene extra body conditioner (white bottle, purple band) is the best volumizing conditioner I've found.
