I have heard that it may be conflicting with another program. How do I find out which one and how?

I get no error message. At first, it appears to start. It runs for 4 seconds and then, it dissapears

Again.. No error message.

It doesn't give you any error message? Restart your computer and then close any programs that open at startup, then try opening it.

As said before, restart windows, and try it again.

Did you install anything new before the problem occurred ?

If you can't work it out, use the support for Adobe, Photoshop is an EXPENSIVE program, so you can expect them to provide some technical help if required.
