as a personal preferance i like it smoth down there, as smooth as i can get it. shaving just dosn't do it for me. it might be nice and smooth for a day but after that it get all funky again. the upkeep is also a bit tedious. i'd like to be able to clean it up nicely once and not have to worry for atleast a week or two.

so my question really is about waxing. is there any "do it your self" waxing kits out there that are safe to use down there? what about salons? if so will they except buisness from men?(if so any one know of one in the central mass area [i know it's a long shot to ask]?) any thing else about waxing down there would be great.

thanks in advance!

My advice is: for the first time, if you can find a good place get waxed professionally so you can see how it feels and if it is worth the pain to you. You can also kind of watch how they do it so you can mimic it at home (b/c it is so much cheaper/convenient to do it yourself). Also, the first time waxing is the most painful, but if you continue to wax every few weeks then the hair will grow back thinner and thinner and it will be easier and easier to wax on your own. I recommend the GiGi Brazilian Bikini Wax Microwave Kit.. it works really well! You can get it from Sally Beauty Supply. Just make sure to follow the directions and good luck!

There are some do it yourself kits in the stores. Sally Hansen has a line of hair removal kits. Just look in the health and beauty section near the Nair, Neet and those things. There are salons that will wax men and women.

Oh, it's gonna hurt like hell.

Typically speaking men dont get "waxed down there" . It suits no purpose except for Appearence. Women usually get waxed because it makes sex more pleasurable between them and their Partenars. If you wish to do it anyways , just go to your local salon and ask for a "waxing kit" they will tell you what to do.

Waxing down there is soooooooo painful. OH GOD does it hurt, but its worth it. I hear ya on the shaving thing. Shaving it 2 days in a row sucks cuz then its all a mess. I do it myself. I get the wax that is used for the bakini area, get it at walmart or any drug store cheap. It works awesome. you heat in the microwave and then you apply it, then wait for it to dry, then pray, take some pain meds, and pull quickly.

Honestly i would not recommend waxing yourself down there, trust me you won't be able to do it. There are some salons that do wax men. You should call around to different salons and ask them. If you do get it done take a few pain killers beforehand. Good Luck to you.

Yes there are waxing kits you can buy in the stores, but are you sure you want to wax down there, ouch it sounds painful to do in such a sensitive area.

there are some salons that specialize in permanent hair removal for men and women - i dont know if they'll do it "down there" but it never hurts to ask, right?

well you can get it done by a pro but you can also do it yourself! going into a salon is more embarrassing! and that really hurts
