Why would you waste your time on this garbage. If you really wanted to make a difference, why don't you work with the poor, the elderly or the disabled??? Global warming is a farce and regardless of what you do, it will not make any difference. Working with people individually will have tremendous impact and may be more rewarding. So you pick up a can or two, change some light bulbs.. big deal. Work with people, and you both benefit. Think about it.

Find a landscape company and help plant trees, I just saw on tv the other day where we are millions of trees behind in the US and trees play a big part in global warming, especially after all the fires in CA. Good luck!!!

Congrats on choosing an excellent topic for your senior project, one that is affecting our lives now and will for many generations. Contact your local Sierra Club to speak with someone who can talk to you about the effects of global warming in your area, and who might be able to provide you with some volunteering opportunities.

Members of bicycle advocacy groups and other alternative transporation advocacy groups might also be able to talk to you abou the effects of global warming and their efforts to encourage people to choose alternatives to cars for transportation, and they too may have volunteering opportunities you could take part in.

Contact the public affairs offices of city and state parks, to see if they have someone who can speak to you about the affects of global warming in your area's green spaces.

You could also try contacting the nearest zoo, to speak with an animal specialist who can tell you about animals at the zoo that represent those in the world who will be most affected by global warming.

Even the local chapter of the American Lung Association may be able to help, as air pollution, which causes global warming, is contributing to a rise in the number of people with asthma.

One of the things you could do for your senior project is develop a web site to help young people in Hollywood, California know what organizations in their area are addressing global warming, and how they could contact each.

To acquire 20 community service hours, you are probably going to have to volunteer for more than one organization over the course of the next few months.

by using fact the only way society is going to decrease Carbon Emissions is for there to be significantly fewer people, I recommend that each and one and all people who have faith drastic modifications are required volunteer to sequester their own own carbon footprints at their community cemetery or mausoleum. of direction, you need to do what the IPCC individuals are doing to combat worldwide warming - they're all flying to a Tropical motel for a speedy convention and a few RAD surfing!
