what do you do about family members who want to be messy and like to talk trash about you

ignore them. or tell them how you feel and ask them to stop if that is possible. if not just ignore them. most important thing is not what people say about you. is what God have to say about you.

You treat someone the way you expect to be treated. Isn't that what they say. I have been there before and talking usually doesn't help as they don't listen and don't care. Being messy, well you can't do anything about I know what that's like to. Just try to let it roll off your back or give a little bit back of what they're dishing out. I bet you they won't like it and will wonder why you are being like that. Then you can tell them "Well I am just doing the same to you as you did to me". Eventually they will either grow up or in my case they will keep it up and you will have to just learn to have a tough skin.

Do not ignore them! Try to sit down and talk to them and try to understand the reason why they are talking trash about you. I mean go up to that person, front him/her, and ask what would be the reason for this rude behaviour? They are still members of your family, and it is very important to get along well with them, so it really worth the trying!

Being messy Is one thing many people are like .Talking trash about you is best just ignored .My Mum said "sticks and stones may break my bones but names will NEVER hurt me."Hold Your head up high if she is not telling the truth as you really are.People like this talk about everyone the same way so they will know that she is a liar .

Messy is their personal choice. It is a reflection on what is going on in their heads.
Try confronting them about stuff they are saying... call them out on it and let them know that dissing you only makes them look that much worse.
Other than that, keep your distance and remember: "living well is the best revenge".

I understand how you feel i have the same problem in my family i have been just trying to ignore it, it is hard but if you are happy with yourself it doesnt matter what they say about you they are probably just jealous of you for some reason.

it rather is resposibility of your mom and dad to make your sister corect. i don't be responsive to how severe they are in appearing their accountability. they could end her going out end her calls attempt to locate some sturdy boy and get her marry yet that guy should not be of your city Ask her if she is severe in all of us of bf then get her marry with that the two that guy is sturdy or not; because of the fact if one isn't waiting to understand what's sturdy or undesirable then what greater suitable you're able to do attempt to do away along with her as early as possible yet in a astounding way.

tell them how you feel and that you think if they have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. and that it's not nice to talk trash about your family.

no bother about them. they are not the one create you. it is GOD who create u man ! Tell them they are insulting GOD . Ask them, will they be happy if what they talk about u had happened . does that make them feel good?? unless they are animals that do not have feelings at all.
move out if they r trouble maker to u.

Take the high road. Ignore them for as long as much as you can. Don't fall to their level, be better than them.
