Some do. I went to a church that had divorce recovery for adults and one for the children. They also had a group called "Healing for Famaged Emotions."

If they do, they would be "second rate" as you would be getting "untrained" help. One fact I have found in all my years is that many ministers go out and get these 2 to 4 year diplomas and all of a sudden they are knowledgable in EVERYTHING. I have "3" PhD's, one of which is in psychology and frankly, DON'T know everything myself. I just wish some of these people in religions would accept themselves for who they are and quit misleading peoples by their vanity.

depends where you go, but make sure you go to a Bible teaching church and if they don't have a group for your particular need, ask them to refer you to one that does. I'm sure they could help you
