I have been worrying and stressed a lot for about the last three months, over relationship issues mostly. My question is, is it possible to worry so much that you can make yourself sick?

Yes. My father always kept the following quote on the wall, and I keep it now. It's called "Why Worry?"
"There are only two things to worry about. Either you are well, or you are sick. If you are well, there's nothing to worry about.
"But if you are sick, there are two things to worry about. Either you will get well, or you will die. If you get well, there's nothing to worry about.
"But if you die, there are two things to worry about. Either you will go to Heaven, or you will go to Hell. If you go to Heaven, there's nothing to worry about.
"But if you go to Hell, you'll be so damn busy shaking hands with all your old friends, you won't have time to worry!"

Yes, it is very possible. Have you ever gotten sick on an important day such as an audition, speech, etc... That's because the stress makes you sick. It's no coincidence that you got sick on the same exact day. Stress affects your mental health and, in turn, affects your physical health. I've been stressing and worrying the past few days and I have gotten this massive headache. Try to relax a little :)

I think whether "a person of science" or someone who believes in some more 'esoteric' possibilities, almost everyone seems to agree that our psyche definitely impacts the rest of our being. So yeah, it is very possible (maybe even common) to worry one's self sick! I guess the question then becomes, how to recognize and handle it in healthy and productive ways. Maybe easier said than done, but everyone is different.

Yes Babyface, stress is one of the leading causes of dis-ease in the body.........Notice how disease breaks down to dis ease.
When I was first recovering from RA one of the things that I had to learn was how to control the stress in my life because it was obvious that stress brought on added inflammation and pain throughout the body.
Now, having learned what I have learned I have a question for you..........What good does worrying do you? Doesn't solve the problem or create a solution, disturbs your sleep, often affects your eating and relationships. Do you see how this is a lose-lose proposition.
Here's another thing to consider in regards to worrying. If we are our thoughts then when we worry we bring those things that we don't want to us. Better to focus our attention on things that we desire in life.
Here is a simple formula that may help you get rid of stress.
Intention = Attention with No Tension

Of course you can worry yourself sick! How do you think people get ulcers? If there is something going on in your life that's worrying you sick or stressing you out to the point of being sick - get rid of the problem.

Yes. I used to worry too much and stress too much over so many things that I got a couple of autoimmune diseases now. I have heard that worry and stress messes up your glands; like your thyroid gland. It also messes up your liver. I now try to relax as much as possible and I wish I had not been worring so much in the past.
Take care

Yes.
Here's my philosopy on worry, which was told to me by a friend.
You shouldn't bother worrying about anything. 80% of the things you worry about never happen. And you don't have any control over the other 20%. So why worry?

Yes! Try to face the reality of life so as not to be upset. Also, always expect the unexpected. Try to put your sadness into writing, let's say, compose a poem or two. If you can paint, you transfer your mood to your masterpiece. Soon enough, you can recover easily.
Voice of experience. Have a nice day:) GOD BLESS US ALL.
