Thanks for all the help. I kinda felt the same way about the word Portraits but I just needed some input.

And I'm not trying to use a cheesy name or cheap catchphrase like someone said. That's why I am using my name. If my name sounds cheesy then I think that was a rude comment. Thanks everyone else for your help!

Portraits by Beth would sound great if all you did with photography is portraits...I prefer what I use, since I am not limited to portraits:
"photography by (myname)".

Your occasion is in basic terms too casual. think of of a school image particularly, like the only they print interior the yearbook. customarily face, going on perchance on your 2nd shirt button. The image on a motive force's license may be a portrait, different than they are many times very undesirable photos. you're able to do greater constructive. in basic terms stand close to a common historic past, in stable mild, and have a chum snap some closeups. back, you're actually not taking a image of the completed physique, in basic terms your face.

Why not try "Images by Beth"? It covers a full range of photographic subjects if you are not a portrait specialist.

for a photography business i would use

photography by beth.

portraits can be photos, acrylics, oils, chalk, pen or whatever and is not specific enough.

if i saw an ad that said 'portraits by beth' i do not think it would draw my attention as much as the one i suggested.
