I work at a very high volume call center. This means the phone calls are back to back. Non-Stop It is very stressful Good Luck though

That means.... answering calls after calls IS your job. Depending on type of calls you have to take, each conversation may last few minutes to much, much, longer. You will typically have only few minutes to document what you talked about into a system, and be ready for the next call. You will typically be measured by the number of calls you take.
You will be expected to be on the phone for the entire time you are on the clock.
It would be a great question to ask at the interview. How long are the typical calls and how many calls you are expected to take in a typical day.
