Dana1981's dog reckons that Global Warming is real. I reckon I am going with the dog it is obviously a lot, lot smarter than this guy. I bet the dog can provide valid references and sources too.

Lol, Sky. That is a good point. The same people extolling Coleman would be saying meteorology is the only profession where you can be wrong 50% of the time and still have a job had he supported climate change theory.

You're at least the 5th person to ask this question today.
Coleman is wrong, and no better than people who think Bush was behind 9/11 or that the moon landing was staged.
The guy is a meteorologist. Meteorologists study weather, not climate. That's why it's called the Weather Channel and not the Climate Channel.
Frankly I find his rantings about a scientific conspiracy pretty insulting. The man has clearly never written a scientific paper, nor does he understand how the scientific community works.

There are a few skeptics. But why should anyone believe one of them as opposed to the overwhelming majority of scientists, backed by a mountain of data? And especially a weatherman, compared to Ph.D. climatologists? It makes no sense.
The scientific fact is that long term climate is much easier to predict than short term weather. Another fact not at all surprising to scientists. Short term data is often overwhelmed by "noise", while long term averages are not. This graph of temperature shows it clearly:

For some reason weathermen have a hard time grasping the fact that climatology is a very different thing.

Weathermen are always wrong!
We are fed so much media BS its hard to believe anything these days, I'm sure there are exaggerations on either end, but I find it difficult to believe this one mans opinion when we have so much data to prove otherwise....also there are Climate conditions that are out of the ordinary, and it is fact the earths temp did increase....

What?
That's certainly a blow for the GW theory. Now what about the current director of the channel, what does he believe?
I still would like to ask Mr Coleman why CO2 passed over 300ppm for the first time lately...

Normally people complain about the weather person, now they want to attach to him because he's re-affirming your beliefs.
This shouldn't be "Yahoo Answers", it should be "Yahoo Opinions without scientific training."

i think its just a natural phase the Earth goes through
and ppl can not really use science to prove their theory either because there are as many scientist who believe in global warming as disbelieve
i think its the leftover hippies trying to hav a comeback
