My rats LOVE carrots but what else can i give them?

-Washed, unpesticided, fresh dandelion leaves (they love and super good for them)
-Oatmeal even in raw flaked form, they like.
-Cooked rice, raw or cooked plain pasta
-Even a leg bone from a chicken or turkey (cooked) to knaw on, will give them added protein and also good for teeth.
- Dry cat kibble
-Broccoli (in moderation)
-bird seed mix (in moderation,.. they love the millet, safflower and sunflower seeds in it!)

Rats can eat many things, but like you they shouldn't! There are a few things that will make them sick or worse. Below is a link that shows poisonous foods and why they are bad. Also foods that are very high in proteins, fats and sugars should be avoided.

Our guys enjoy bananas, melon, bits of whole-grain toast, puffed cereal & peas, among other things.

ratties love trail mix, dried and fresh bananas, cooked eggs, cooked oatmeal..

anything they can eat anything you give them so pick someting sweet and give it to them
