MunsonIII, I got my first one for standing fire watch, I got my send 2 for actually doing something meaningful. Wear your two with honor.

I got my "fire watch ribbon" back in basic when we zeroed our M16 s, it s called a fire watch ribbon because it was "tossed" out to you, with no ceremony, normally at the end of the day when the 1st fire watch was just getting posted in the barracks. I was in the shower when I got mine, got back to my bunk and there as alittle blue box on it, I asked my buddy what this was? ..And he told me what it was and why I had gotten it, "you had zeroed your M16 and were now ready to defend your country!" ...Well not until I got my uniform back on! :) PS - Of interest when you wear your ribbons, every ribbon to the right of this one is a "I was there ribbon" ie No Big Deal, and every ribbon to the left of it ...would be an interesting story!

You must be a reservist since you are well past the service limits which is 30 years.
