If it's tough being married, why not turn the tide?

For instance, when my wife tells me I'm getting fat, I tell her that if we turn back-to-back, we look like parenthesis.

or if she asks if that dress makes her look fat, tell her "No, but your belly and your back-side does."

Take my advice and won't have to worry about the difficulties of being married any more.

Maybe you're married to the wrong person. You're supposed to love someone for who they are, not criticize them. And if that's what your wife is doing, maybe you should sit down and talk to her about the way it makes you feel. Love does not say things like that.

I don't think so.
Sometimes we have same lifestyle, same routine make our life little boring.
For me sex is not foremost thing in married life( of course its important), but little little thing we do for each other make our married life little excited.
If being little fat is bothering your wife , try to loose some weight.
