I just bought a Samsung Syncmaster 931bw myself. I am also using it for my ps3. The only thing you need to buy is a hdmi to dvi converter or a hdmi to dvi converter cable. You just plug it in, change the setting of the ps3 and it works.

if you are going to use a Computer monitor for your PS£ you need one with an HDMI output im afraid
