Or the other way around? We always hear that fruits and vegetables are good for your body, but which truly nourish the most? If you had to choose between fruits and vegetables?

fruits have more sugars/fructose than most veggies, so the impact of just that to you insulin could be a problem....
also soluble vs non-soluble fiber is an issue

Both are good. However Fruits contain sugars..... while more digestiable than processed sugar eating too many is not good either. Most non starchy vegetables contain little sugars...

It's best to have a good balance. 3 to 4 fruits and all the non starchy veggies you want!

I'd choose vegetables...fruits can have high sugar content if eaten in mass quantity.

I think you have to strike for a balance.
Nutrients are better absorbed in the presence of others and so on.
Example : to benefit from apples, grapes (dark red) and pineapple and their phitochemicals to the max. degree you have to eat a little fat ( from avocados as example.)

A balanced diet is best.

both important but veg is the mainstay and the source of more protein and suchlike.
