Is Alcohol that is higher proof more harmful to your body?

Ok I'm around 30 years old and I drink 3-4 times a week.I drink 2-3 shots of Bacardi 151 of the evening.I'm wondering,since it's such a high proof,is it more harmful than say,Jack daniels?
Oh and by the way I am an adult and it's my right to drink if I so choose.

Jesus! Three shots of 151?! That stuff is LETHAL!
Haha, well good on you for being able to handle that much.
But yeah, the higher concentration of alcohol the more damage it does, and the harder your liver must work to process it all.
And since Bicardi 151 is what? like 75% alcohol, you could be doing a fair amount of damage in the long run.

Did you know that here, in Australia, that legally bartenders will only sell you three shots of 151? Haha.
I had two once, i remained conscious for about 2 hours, haha.

All it means is that it has a higher alcohol content so 3 shots of 151 is maybe equal to 5 or 6 of jack

The proof level tells you the amount of alcohol. just divide the proof by 2 and you will have the alcohol content of that drink. The higher the proof the quicker and easier it will be to damage your liver. Moderation is best.

My understanding is, in Russia where high-proof vodka is commonly consumed, they have higher incidence of throat and stomach cancer. Alcohol concentrated enough to strip a paint can't possibly be good on human flesh.
