Teenagers are hormones on feet! They don't know what they mean. It's easy to say without understanding.

It means that 2+ weeks or maybe even 5 years of hanging around the girl, the guy will eventually get board and want to find something new and different.

People change, their likings change, and so do their taste in women/men.

At 13, I seriously doubt that there is any inclination of real love when indeed a 30 year old will marry for love to divorce 3 years later.

The reason as to why a kid would do this is because of many stimulants of love. loneliness, need, or feelings of abandonment are pretty common causes for people to think that they're in love.

Love is just a feeling. It's what comes after love that is the commitment and adaptable molding bond.

Some actually are very rare when that happens but I think they are just hoping that they are in love so they say it a way to show affection

Because their hormones are confusing them. They have heard of love and think that what they have is it because they've never experienced it before. They're tryign to be grown up when they have no idea with whats going on.

Look at the divorce rate. Doesn't seem like anyone means it any more.
