Ha, ha.

Working at starbucks has to have something going for it, because those people are the happiest employees I've ever seen.

Yes it certainly would have many perks. I wouldn't recommend it as a job for someone who doesn't like coffee...a lot, though. For the Starbucks regular coffee drinker, they would make more money working there than at their Wall Street job...considering the price of the coffee. I am assuming employees get free coffee...

First of all, it's a great environment...everyone is really welcoming and concerned about each other as partners. It is definitely one of the best jobs I have ever had.

If you work at least 20 hours a week, you get health insurance. VERY few companies offer part-time workers this benefit.

You get a free drink any time you come in off the clock, and a 30% discount on merchandise or if you pay for your friends/family who come in with you. You also get a free pound of coffee or box of tea a week.

Hmmm I doubt there are that many perks left at star bucks, they use pressure brewers now. ;-)

I hear at some computer tech places when they throw out their old equipment you can scavage them for parts and keep what you find, but this is really something only geeky people would see as a perk.

I have heard you still have to pay something for your coffee etc, but that is only hearsay.
