Is there other ways for someone to get a split personality? I want to know

It's not a split personality anyway it's Multiple Personality Disorder.

Most of the previous answerer's have assumed you mean MPD or DID for split personality but it is also mistakenly believed by many to be schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is not a split personality. Schizophrenia is not a single disease but a number of disorders. The amount of misinformation and misunderstanding about all these disorders is abysmal.
I suggest you research them by googling them or on Yahoo! web search.

Dissociative Identity Disorder, formerly termed Multiple Personality Disorder, but more commonly known as split personality, is only known to be caused by a traumatic situation occurring at an early age. See D.I.D., at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 17.

At times he comes to his real self and sometimes self created by him.Very high egotism where one thinks himself different from what he is.
