I agree that abortions are wrong, but pointing this out to people in this manner is not winning people over to Jesus. Being a Christian is about building relationships with others and sharing your stories that God has given you. This type of comment just pushes people away.
I mean, in God's eyes, no one sin is greater than another. I am sure you are not sinless. I am definalty sure you are forgiven and those who choose Jesus are forgiven and that is why He chooses to use us.

think about both sides...
1) a mother aborts her baby, perhaps before its fetus stage, when its scientifically proven that it cannot feel pain. the woman lives on and eventually when she is ready to have children, she does.
2)the mother wants to abort the baby, but because of anti-abortion laws she is forced to keep it. The baby is born, the mother probably cannot financially support it, the father will probably leave the mother in a financial and social crisis, which basically is the worst position to raise a baby. the baby grows up without a dad and probably a mom cuz the mom either abandons the child or is too busy at work making money for her and the kid. Kid grows up to becoming a rebellious teenager because the mom is never around, he/she finds out that they are a result of a "mistake", which further forces them to rebel.... eventually they either end up doing drugs, committing suicide, or leading a fruitless, aimless life, when it all could have been prevented by one operation.
Before you start throwing your religious arguments at me, take a moment to think about the above scenarios. Would you rather destroy the life of an unborn, undeveloped fetus, or would u rather destroy the life of that developed baby/human being with the addition of a mother?

This is your opinion, not the worlds. Until you are in that situation you will never know. The human race cannot be mistake free. If a child is born disabled and will have no quality of life, is that out of selfishness? if a woman got raped, should she be forced to keep the baby? - that child will know his father was a rapist. Should a drug user have a child? What about people who have lost children before and are too shocked to deal with another pregnancy. Married women have abortions, so dont label single women. i agree with you on one aspect, - it is too easy to have an abortion, and the women who do it cos they dont want a child should not be allowed to.

Women have a choice what they do with their bodies. Is that baby more important than its mother? Would you chose it over the woman?
I agree that children should be carried to term and given up for adoption if the mother is not ill or the child isn't the result of assault. However, if the mother is ill or unfit, or happens to be underage, the pregnancy should be terminated.
A blastosyst doesn't have consciousness. It's not a human yet.
By the way, I also support the death penalty, though lobotomy would be a better option in my opinion.

1) Some people don't believe there's anything wrong with having sex.
2) Sometimes women find themselves in abusive relationships.
3) Women risk their lives in service of the life force - that should be a gift, not an act of slavery.
4) IT'S NOT ALIVE YET! They give you a certificate AT BIRTH not at conception.
5) I don't want to live in a world full of people raising kids they don't want. It's harmful to the kid and to the rest of society.
6) Every child has a right to be wanted. If it's not wanted, better to terminate early and move on.

I'm pro-choice because I think it's selfish of me to force MY Opinion on someone else.
Also, ever think it's also selfish of us to continue to breed and continue to populate this already overpopulated human world? Just throw another unwanted child into an abusive, unloving home; or worse into orphanages and adoption homes that are running out of room?
If I were in control, I'd make it a law that after two children the parents would have to get fixed. Funny how we control animal populations [ie: fixing our pets] and yet cannot grasp the concept of controlling our own population. We're growing out of control and people are too dumb, ignorant, or whatever to realize that.

I can relate completely. I had an abortion at 15, before I was saved. Even then I felt it was wrong, but I didn't feel like I had a choice. I wasn't strong enough to tell the adults in my life no. Then, at 21 (after I was saved) I was raped and became pregnant. It was an opportunity to right my wrong and I did. My son will be thirteen this month and not a day goes by that I don't thank God for this wonderful blessing. And, no, I don't EVER think about the rape when I look at him.
