If someone lives in a remote tribe somewhere no one has found and has NEVER been exposed to christianity, are they automatically damned to hell with no possible escape?

Why so many hateful answers? This is a question I am really interested in and curious about. And to those saying "If they haven't been discovered by man, then they already know of God/christianity etc." Then why is it every group of people we've "discovered" don't worship the christian god untill we teach them to?

They will be judged by their knowledge. God reveals Himself to everyone.

Of course NOT...that would be the act of an unjust God. The Bible tells us that no one has excuse for not knowing Him...Romans 1:20 says, "For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities-His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God." And I am sure that if there is someone out there somewhere that for some reason just had no idea about God that He, in His just wisdom, will give them the opportunity to accept or reject Him.

From what I have read in the Bible, no they are not going to hell. Hell was never meant for us to go to. It is a place reserved for the devil and those that rejected and rebelled against God. Also, The Bible is really clear that before Christ's Return, The Gospel WILL BE preached over all the world. to me the word "all" really means just that. Besides, God also has said that "The heavens and the earth declare His Glory". I think that about encompasses all those groups you are talking about. Hey! I know. You wanna go with me to one of those remote parts and share the Gospel? I'm game!

God Bless.

They are judged according to the knowledge in their heart. If they have violated the Law written on their own hearts, that is to say if they have violated their conscience, then they are guilty.

If by either word, action or attitude, they have demonstrated that they know the difference between right and wrong, and then by either word, action or attitude, they did not live up to what they knew was right, then they will be judged guilty.

Now then, since you KNOW that those kinds of people exist, if you aren't doing something about it, and they go to hell, then according to the Bible, THEIR blood will be on YOUR hands, because you KNOW they have never heard of Jesus to rescue them from hell, but you didn't do anything about it!

Knowledge = responsibility, whether to someone living in a remote tribe somewhere who knew right from wrong at it's simplest level, or whether it is you who know they are in danger but you do nothing about it.

You're either part of the solution, or you're still part of the problem, and since you have demonstrated by your question that you know about the problem, you won't have any excuse when you're standing before God!

According to the bible there are three kind of people righteous, unrighteous and evils, the first and the second if they died they will be resurrected after Armageddon during the millenial kingdom according to Acts 24:15 , the people you say they are unrighteous but evil are gonig to die forever in the lake of fire but is not a place of torture cause the same bible says is the second death or stop the existence forever.

Acts 24:15 " and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous"

Psalms 37:9 " For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth."

I'm actually asking the same question.

According to the Bible, the only way to enter the Kingdom of God is through accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

The way I understand it, if you never accepted Jesus, then you won't be able to enter the Kingdom of God but you can still go to heaven. Everyone is entitled to go to heaven as long as you repent and turn away from your sins. Sin is what's dragging us to hell.

So to answer your question, in my own opinion, no - he's not automatically damned to hell but he may not enter the Kingdom of God unless he receives Jesus. That's why there are missionaries. To go to the ends of the earth and share the Word of God so that they may have the chance to be saved.

Also, God is known in many names. He may not know Him as "God" but as long as he believes that there is a power/being that is greater than him and everything in this world then I think that is the same.

' inspite of the undeniable fact that, some christians believe that in case you have been in no way uncovered to God interior the 1st place, then you definately get an exemption. ' defective concept, no such doctrine. The gospel is to be preached to the ends of the earth >>> Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the dominion would be preached in each and all of the international for a witness unto all countries; and then shall the tip come. ' Eg. ... in no way uncovered to Christianity, then once you die, you do not flow to hell. ' in no way uncovered to christianity ... not possible. Reincarnation will make confident to take heed to and the two reject / settle for marking twelve months very own destiny. God is honest. Joh 10:9 i'm the door: by potential of me if any guy enter in, he would be saved, and shall flow out and in, and locate pasture. the vs above says no person enters heaven different than by potential of the call of Jesus Christ. consequently, w/o accepting Jesus, there's no get admission to to heaven, by potential of default ... to hell. on 'abolish christianity' ... God is a christian. because no you are able to abolish God, then christianity can in no way be abolished. certainty. each and every soul born would be tried and examined .... to reject / settle for Jesus the Messiah. Even little ones at the instant are not exempted ... reincarnation.

It depends on the Christian you ask. Some Christian religions teach that someone who is never exposed to Christianity is damned to hell (although I can't imagine that that is taught very often). Other religions, hold a different view.

In my religion (for example) we believe that someone who never has the chance to hear the gospel in this life WILL get to hear it in the next. And from there, they get to choose whether they'll accept the gospel or not.

I believe that every person will either spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. This will be determined by whether they trust Jesus Christ by faith and what He did when He died and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. The best answer to your question is found in the Bible in Romans Chapter 1. I would encourage you to read this chapter and then see if anything is clearer to you. Pray and ask got to reveal in your heart and mind, His truth. He rewards those who diligently seek to know Him.

Those who are so concerned with "what about those who haven't heard" start with a skewed view of God. They assume that
1) God is unable to reveal Himself without man doing it for Him.
2) God will be unjust during the judgment day.
3) God sets unfair expectations.

The Bible reveals that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11) and the individual seeker (Deuteronomy 4:29) as it proclaims,

“But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

These scriptures prove assumption #1 as false.

Those who assume the above have come to their own conclusions about God--not based on truth. They are not speaking about the living God revealed in scripture, but rather an idol crafted out of their own politically correct imaginations. We see the correct view of God as stated by Abraham in Genesis 18:25...

"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

God will not judge us by which religion we associate with, nor what church we attend. God will judge according to the individual heart, and that heart will be judged by the measure of how much revelation was imparted to them.

If you do not believe the Bible, you have no argument because, according to your own philosophy, there is no god, no heaven, no hell, and no impending judgment. To argue would be just being contentious. However, if you DO believe the Bible, then you can also take the following as a promise.

Psalm 19:9
The judgments of YHWH are true and righteous altogether.

God will come to them in the way God wishes. This is what my religion calls the "doctrine of invincible ignorance".

It says when one is offered the path of Christianity, without the corrupted misconceptions so commonly found in places like this, it is their responsibility to either accept the gift, or reject it and do things their own way.

By choosing their own way, it means they'd rather not hang out with God and the rest of the crew. The only other option is to wander aimlessly alone in the dark.
