Who wears berets in the Air Force? I beleive Red berets are Combat Controllers. Dark Blue berets are Security Personnel...I beleive there are four other beret bearers in the USAF?

The Beret IS the only authorized headwear for Security Police, both in duty uniform and in dress uniform. Exceptions to this are when deployed to area's like Iraq etc...

I live 15 minutes from a major air base and am on that base quite frequently. The only uniformed personnel I see wearing berets (black ones) are those with the security squadron.
