I deleted it ......don't ask why. I need to know if there is any way I can get it back. When I try to it says patch not found. This is my trial computer and I'm still learning.
Please help!

I'm not sure what you mean by "word 2003 special edition". I'll assume you had a Trial version of M$-Word. My guess is the trial period expired.

So, the bad news is: No. The good news is:

Try the free, and M$-Office compatible, Open Office instead, from:

Included: Writer (like Word), Calc (Excel), Impress (PowerPoint), Base (Access), Draw (M$-Paint) and Math

Just make sure that if you want others to be able to view the documents using M$-Office Word, for example, save them using "Save as..." in .doc format, instead of the default .odt format.

Or use the built-in PDF creation feature.

one thing you could try is to go to the control panel and see if it is still listed then click on change and see if it will reload.

Good luck
