burn rubbing alcohol?

how hot does it get after it has burned

please i cant find a decent answer
and i was told it was 900 degrese !

Rubbing alcohol is usually isopropanol (sometimes ethanol is used) with about 30% water (it will burn, but not as hot as the pure alcohol). Pure ethyl alcohol, when burned in an alcohol lamp, will reach on the order of 1000 C (you can make bends in glass tubing or melt aluminum and smaller sized copper wire). I'm not certian how hot the dilluted stuff will burn at.
