It's because you're a Christian. Has nothing to do with being a teenager.

Some (and I'm not saying ALL) will give a thumbs down to an answer without even reading it if they know the person is Christian or can see it in their answer. (It works both ways with SOME Christians responding to Atheist questions.)

Don't let it get to you. You know in your heart what is right and true and no one can take that from you.

God Bless!!

It has more to do with how you answer questions. I get thumbs down because I do not give the politically correct Christian answer. I am pagan so I get many thumbs down just for that.

I understand scripture and I quote proper bible passages on questions and I get thumbs down by people who do not like what the bible says but claim they do for example any question about baptism I show from scripture that it is commanded and expected and necessary for salvation and the people who do not like baptism give thumbs down. I am sure i will get thumbs down for this answer also.

If you show from scripture that it is not faith only then the faith only people will give thumbs down. Pentecostals will give thumbs down anytime you show from scripture their practice is not from God.

So unless you say what everyone wants you to say which is impossible you will get thumbs down. It all depends on who the majority of people are reading and answering questions.

I am surprised at times because on some answers about baptism I expect to get thumbs down and end up getting many thumbs up, I then go back and read the questions and at that particular time the pro baptism people were answering more than the non.

If there are more atheists reading and answering then you will get thumbs down if it is not in line with scientific evidence.

Being a teenager you do not have the life experience or knowledge that us old codgers have so you may get thumbs down for not giving a good answer simply because you do not have the life experience and do not understand some things. it is not a prejudice against teenagers, it is just you have not experiences what we older ones have.

I get a lot of thumbs down and I am an atheist. I've been reported several times by Christians, Muslims, Mormons, and conservatives. A thumbs down is OK, but don't report someone just because you don't agree with their question or answer.

They will only treat you differently if you begin to change your answers to fit with their beliefs. Don't worry about the thumbs down, they will depend on what question you are answering. If you answer a Christian question, you'll get some thumbs up, and atheist question, thumbs down. Don't let it discourage you, it just means they disagree with your answer and it is not a reflection of you!

Fallen Sweetie, it rather is in no way going to alter, so I flow away you with this. each time you're insulted take excitement interior the component you're unlike that. you at the instant are not so finished of self doubt you're able to motel to such techniques. because of the fact thats what it somewhat is all approximately. each time an insult is thrown the insulter might to boot have an indication that announces "i can't think of of something logical so i could motel to insults" maximum normally i think greater pity for people who insult rather that people who're insulted.

Do not worry about the thumb downs.I think if you get them, you have probably got your message across pretty well. Remember, God is not going to give anyone thumb down for trying to do business with Him. You can never mess up so royally that He cannot fix.

Do not bother to change your name, of course unless YOU want to.

Be who you are. The world can use teenage Christian perspective as much as any other. Being Christian there is only J.C.'s thumbs to be concerned with.

I really only thumbs done people who purposefully lie about the real answer or try to subvert the truth or copy/paste from the bible.

For example the liar above me Rev Albert who also copy/pasted from the bible.

Edit: For an example of Rev Albert subverting the truth look at his answer here:

Those are the answers I thumbs down and the people I thumbs down. I could care less that you are a Christian.

Who cares about getting thumbs down? People look at those answers first anyways, so its actually a good thing!! Don't try to be somebody else.
