If I hear one more time that hunters are unbalancing the ecosystem I will go crazy! We are the ones keeping it in balance! We don't hunt, the animal overpopulates, and everything goes downhill from there. Not to mention hunters are the ones paying the taxes to keep endangered animals alive! Does anyone agree with me?

I forgot to mention when I see people eating BLT sandwich and talking about how inhumane hunters are, I want to go up to them and say, " where do you think that bacon came from? That's right a slaughterhouse. Once you see a peta video and what happens when you are hunting, you will think that hunting is ten times more humane.

100% agree with you. People need to keep their mouth shut especially when they have not hunted. They never done it or will they ever try to. They just go by what they hear and what they see. Don't bother to get the facts or see that hunting is actually helpful. All they care about is the animal and they feel sorry for it. I wonder what PETA's or any animal rights persons reaction would be when they are told that they kill animals. When they drive out to their rallies in their cars and the bugs hit the windshield they are killing an animal. What would they say? or while they are out protesting and step on a bug that happens to be out enjoying it walk and squish. Maybe they would finally stop with the protests. To me they need to stop worrying about us hunters and get over it.

I do agree with you. If it wasnt for hunter the deer population would infact overpopulate. Hunters do alot for endangered animals. There are even some hunting organizations (formed by hunters) that help protect endangered animals.

I think you will find 99% of us that are "True" Hunters will agree with you completely. Lately even here on Answers we as a group seem to be targeted more often than not, about the legality and moral issues of Hunting. I wish everyone would take these attempts with a grain of salt and try to ignore them rather than as I call it "Feeding the frenzy" We have to unite against people that make a habit of attacking our legal rights and do a lot more than throw back retoric that most if not all of the anti-hunters will ignore anyway.I have told many not to "Go away MAD....Just go away." Simple , direct and to the point..No need to mince words or fight with "unarmed" foolish people......

Yes, and some of the same anti-hunters will advocate the deployment of government sharpshooters to cull game overpopulation. These cretins simply want all reason for private gun ownership to vanish, along with the skills of shooting, hunting, and survival. Bloody evil hypocrites!

My favorite are the ones who think, for some reason, that the life of an animal is as valuable as the life of a human being. Wow...absolutely ridiculous.

I am with you.
You know, I wonder if they drive everyday. Do you know how many ants and other bugs are killed every year due to car's windshield and tires???

You're preaching to the choir, but I'm sure you feel better. Occasionally you can educate the ignorant, but be careful: there's no cure for stupid.

I think everyone agrees with you here...

Perhaps you should try this question in the vegetarian section. :)

If only people knew what really goes on at slaughter houses.
