It may be fine to befriend someone of a different faith, but with the motive of winning the person tactfully to Jesus Christ. Friendship evangelism demands that you first become a friend to the person that you wish to win to the Kingdom of God. She probably woud be more receptive to you than if you are an enemy.
If they do not accept right away, do not force conversion, they probably would become more resistant. Just leave the situation alone. When you have planted the seed, let it germinate.
Remember, it is the Holy Spirit that does the conviction and gives the revelation of salvation.
In a situation of a Jehovah Witness, you must be very careful. They go against some of the cardinal principles of the Christian faith. They do not believe in the Trinity. They do not believe that Jesus is God. But the Bible says in Him (Jesus) was the fulness of the Godhead. Jesus told Philip that He is God incarnate ( John 14:9). And he that denieth the son denieth the Father. They also do not believe that the soul survives bodily death. The Bible, however says "absent from the body present with God." They erroneously believe a certain amount of works are essential to salvation. But salvation comes by grace through faith, it is a gift (Ephesians 2:8). Do you have to work for a gift? No salvation is free.
Talk to the young lady about her erroneous beliefs. Do not allow her to persuade into thinking like her. If you are thinking about marring her, you will find how compatible you already are. Pray for her and research the Bible for passages to counter her false beliefs.
The scriptures say "how can two walk together unless they agree?" if you have witnessed to her over a period of time and there is no difference, both of you need to go your separate ways and let the Lord put the right one in your path.
Even then, you can continue to pray for her salvation and even seed for a breakthrough.

You shouldn't date either way! I am 14 too, and dating now won't get anywhere, since you can't even technically get married until you're 18.
Besides, you can't even work until you are 16, and after that, you still won't have a house, a good car, and a good education.
(1 Corinthians 7:36) God would rather you wait until you are past the "bloom of youth".
And for this same reason, the girl will probably dissagree to go out.
Edit: Nino doesn't know the definition of a christian btw...

Being of a definite faith has no longer something to do with how good someone is on the interior. i'm happy the child did no longer ought to undergo any extra advantageous hypocrisy and brainwashing. once you're ill, you're ill and loss of existence/ailment does not discriminate because of the fact of religion. we are all human beings and suseptible to any raging, damaging ailments and ailments. After Armageddon we can't ought to difficulty approximately this, OR fake non secular CULTS any extra for God will take care and get rid of this badness from his advent for good. Your tale, whether heartfelt, became too winded and you're putting too a lot right into a pretend non secular doctrine. I merely thank God that she did no longer want a blood transfusion because of the fact if she did, that could have rather brought about her loss of existence because of the fact the witlessness don't have self assurance in blood transfusions to shop lives. I racket and a strategies-controling cult.

M'dear... I hate to phrase it in such an "off" manner, but... you're ONLY 14. I seriously doubt that this relationship is your "lifetime one-and-only." I see nothing wrong with dating her right now. If you learn more about her religion, great! Learn how it differs from Christianity (and it DOES... see website below for details)... but please, don't think God is going to be angry with you at this "tender" age of yours!
I have friends of many faiths, and I stand strong in mine. Sometimes we talk about it, sometimes we simply "agree to disagree." If God were angry if we have friends of different faiths, He'd be angry with Himself!
It's only if you are seriously contemplating marriage should the faith issue come into serious play. Until then, respect her, treat her well, and live your life at ease that God loves you.
Have a blessed day.

Honey, you are way too young to date, because date means making a commitment towards marriage.
That commitment for you means you will go to HER Christians meeting On Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Out in the preaching work on Saturdays.
Upholding Christian morals, NOT smoking, no underage drinking, abstain from sex until marriage.
Serve Jehovah in the preaching work, until ,.
baptism. Then continue preaching The truth about God for All of our life time until God relieves us by death!
So it is not if God will be Mad at you.....but will you measure up to Gods standards, and be ready for water immersion baptism as a TRUE Christian, while being celibate until marriage.

yes, that is absolutely ok for God. why? because it is only thru our interaction with our enemies, i mean, ancestral and historical enemies, can Gods' grieving heart can be comforted. In fact, He favors the interfaith marriages and cross-cultural marriages bec only thru this the resentment of long line historical problems can be solved. imagine if a Christian and a Jew marries, what religion and nationality will the children represents? I would say in the spiritual sense, not Christian or Jewish, or not an American or Israelites, but the children would be a citizen of God's Peace Kingdom. This children would be God's hope to unite all mankind and thereby solving all the historical resentments. If this ideal concept will continue as part of our culture, then there is really hope for God's Ideal Peace Kingdom would be established on earth as well as in the spirit world.

I don't know about Him being mad but He gives us rules to protect us. Do you know what her religion truly is? My aunt is JW and my mom is Baptist. They fought my entire young life. The 2 are just too different for a lasting relationship. Maybe. I think you owe it to yourself to find out what it is they believe and how that's different from what you believe.
I know you're only 14 but what if you end up marrying this girl? Whose religion will you follow? How will you raise your kids?
Sounds silly, but sillier things have happened on this planet! I happen to know very wonderful people who met in school and were married after school. They are still married, too!

All religions are right and celebrate the same God/Goddess/Universal Energy. So why would they be mad? Relax and enjoy the life He/She has given you.
