Sex is a true show of how much you love your husband, or very close B/F, I know for myself that I cant just go out and have sex and not feel for someone, alot of ppl don't agree with me, but I am just talking about my own feelings as far as sex goes, and by the way, I didn't learn this lesson until I was in my middle 30's, When I was younger, it was because I just knew it felt good, and partly because I was using it as a tool to get a guy faster, I wish now that I knew then what I know now.

It's simple, really.
The act of having sex releases dopamine into the brain. Dopamine acts as a chemical "reward" in that it sends the mind into a state of euphoria. This is the same reason it feels good to eat, or to excrete waste. Also, consumption of alcohol and the use of drugs artificially trigger the release of dopamine into the brain. Hence the "buzz" or "high" that you experience, which is similar to the sensation the body feels after an orgasm.
To sum it up, dopamine is the body's natural way of reinforcing positive behaviors which help you survive, and/or maintain the survival of your species. Every mammal experiences similar sensations when eating, having sex, etc. Mother Nature has to have some way of making us do what is necessary for our survival, right?

The main reason for sex is for the reproduction of children. Well I love kids but I'm in college and don't think I would want any soon. I think that having sex can bring two people close together. I dont think that you have to have sex with someone just because you are in a relationship. I dont think of sex as just a sexual act. It is a mental act too. I'm mentally connected to my bf. That's what makes it so much enjoyable. We are in sync.

Well when I was in my 20's it was fun because there were so many young hot looking guys around.
Now, not so fun. I'm 45 and most of the men are old married stinky men wanting to cheat on their wives.

the major reason is the reproduction of the human species otherwise they would not have sex at all .it's just too bad the english language is so inadequately set in defining the difference . Our language is not suited to discerning real
conventional sex from recreational sex .I think they should have different names .. as they serve different functions.

It's what we were made to do: Have sex in order to produce more of our kind. The stronger our drive, the more likely we are to have our genes carry on. That's why a strong sex drive is normal.
