how do i fix this?. I do the spell check and it says text marked with do not check spelling/grammer was skipped. i didnt say that for anything. please help

Click on the 'Tools' menu and choose 'Options'. Bring the 'Spelling and Grammar' tab to the front and check if there are any check marks in front of the options to ignore.

Hey, E-Street.
You've got some text that has the spelling and grammer checker OFF. This usually occurs when a style in use in your document (you may have copied it from somewhere else) has it turned off.
Just Ctrl+A, then Tools-->Language, Set language and click the "Do Not Check" box until it's cleared completely.
