I'm getting a new fridge delivered tomorrow morning and am wondering about how long it should take it once its plugged in and running to come to proper temperature. In other words, how long do I need to leave my food in cooler before I can put it back in the new fridge? I already have an extra freezer so no worries about frozen food.

The installer should be able to tell you that.

Also, throw out the first batch of ice made the first day.... it has gunk in it from the insides of the tubing.
