At the resurrection of Lazarus, Jesus repeatedly states that the Dead in Christ will be raised on the last day. (The Last Day is described in Revelation, where there is no more night after the second coming). Paul says that the Rapture cannot occur until after the dead in Christ are raised. Paul also says that the dead in Christ will be raised at the "last trump." In the book of Revelation, there are seven trumpet calls during the Tribulation. In the parable of the wheat and the tares, Jesus says that the tares are removed, not the wheat. And in the Olivet Discourse, Jesus says that the tribulation will only occur after he gathers his elect. In the book of Revelation, those who participate in the "first resurrection" are those who died during the tribulation. Again, according to Paul, the Rapture cannot occur until after the resurrection of the dead, and the "first" resurrection doesn't occur until after the tribulation.
Well, that's my take. Written as if directed to a fundamentalist.

The rapture happens at the time of the 2ND coming, at which times the saints are raptured to heaven and the sinners are slain.
beware that many speak of a pretribulation rapture as happening 7 years before the 2nd coming. That is not biblical,
you see the 7 years they used comes from the prophecy of
Daniel 9, in which the last 70th week (7 years) which actually
speak of being the time when the Messiah is to die, (eg : "AFTER" 69 weeks (62 +7 previously mentioned) the messiah is to be cut off...or to die, Since the 70 weeks is to include the "atonement or reconcialiation", which happens at the time of the death of Christ, then the atonement is happening at the time of the 70th week, and therefore that week has been used and it is no longer available to be used for a man made pre 7 years tribulation rapture...
So that futuristic interpretation, and the idea of a pretribulation rapture is all a lie..
God bless,
Nini

The rapture is never to be in that exact sense. The catching up of the Saints is! However, not all are Saints, and only the Saints remaining shall be caught up.
That having been said, (scriptures may be provided) Matthew 24:29-32 show us that this happens after the great tribulation. This is pre-Armageddon! (The reference in Rev to the GT seems to include A.)
The reason it is pre-A. is because of Rev chapter 19. Here we read that the Lamb, Christ, gets married to the bride, the group of Saints whereupon he and his bride ride off to wage war, Armageddon.
Armageddon is the general harvest, the end, the judgment of the sheep and goats. Followed by this the judgment of the dead occurs. Combined this is judgment day.
In a sense, the 1000 year reign of Christ is a kind of judgment day -- different subject.

The "rapture" is a relatively modern belief based on a misinterpretation of Scripture.
And why do you only want quotes from the King James version of the Bible? The newer versions are translated directly from the original languages and much more accurate in their meaning.

Check out Revelation 7:1-15. We see two things here, the rapture is before armageddon but after the start of the tribulation. When the four winds are witheld and the 144,000 elect jews are sealed, a great multitude of believers who have gone through persecution SUDDENLY appear before the throne. Check this out and pray about it, see what you think.

You will never get a breakthrough in understanding eschatology and soteriology with the rapture delusion. May God have mercy to save us.
The rapture teaching is a Jesuit led, counter-Reformation, teaching of the Roman Catholic 'church' to destroy true Protestant faith, and today; they had been overwhelmingly successful. Many are poisoned by the HERESIES OF DISPENSATIONALISM. Find out who Ribera is!

1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore, comfort one another with these words."

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
