long term storage between 52 - 54 for both reds and whites. You can actually store both reds and whites together. I tend to keep my friend set on the setting for whites, which is slightly colder than the reds.

When preparing to serve, I stick the white in the fridge for about half hour to chill down to 41. For red bring it out and open it 30 min before serving to bring it up to around 62.

55 F would be ideal, but any temp between 50-60 should be OK. There are two important points to remember in addition to this:
1) Keep the temperature stable. Too much fluctuation is not good for the wine.
2) Keep the humidity high. Something like 65-70% should do it.

Keep your white wine under the same conditions and it will be fine.
