It means baring one's soul for the abject scrutiny of total strangers...placing one's self on the block of the mart of sensual competitive commerce. Of course, that is ridiculous of me to say, so scrap all that. LOL
It simply means 30-50 pounds overweight; anything less is just a pleasant surprise. The next time you buy clothes, shoes, ground beef or a new novel, just remember: sometimes the outside makes a difference -- it's just impolite to admit it.

It could mean a few extra pounds plus 100 more, and it could mean 10 pounds overweight. It's such an objective way to put it, it could mean anything!

Well it depends if they are honest or not. In general, it means that they are about 20 pounds (or less) over average weight for their height and body build.
