The other night my baby was sick. She would not sleep in her bed so I sat up in my bed holding her most of the night so she could sleep. I closed my eyes for what felt like a few seconds. Someone's face came to me over my left shoulder and softly said "you are a good mommy for staying up and holding your baby while she is sick". Then I opened my eyes and I did not feel like I had been asleep. I could not see the face clearly, but I felt so calm and was not afraid, like I knew who it was. Am I going crazy or has this happened to anyone else. It didn't feel like a dream....it felt so real.

I wonder if it could have been my grandpa who died when I was 12. We were so close!

You're not going crazy, or if you are, you're certainly not alone. It sounds like you're just one of the few people who are sensitive to receiving messages from another dimension, the other side, whatever you want to call it.

I do believe the spirits of deceased loved ones can visit us when we're asleep, or when we're awake. During sleep is more common, because a relaxed mind is more receptive. It's very rare to see the spirit of a deceased loved one when you're awake. But, I know it's possible, because the spirit of a deceased loved one appeared to me twice. (Because it took twice for me to actually be convinced I saw what I saw, and for me to get the message that was being conveyed.)

As far as hearing a voice from over your shoulder, that's a Spirit Guide, an entity that stays with you your entire life, responsible for nudging you along by serving as your inner voice, or intuition. It sounds like you may have received that message, because you were feeling uncertain, or perhaps inadequate, in regard to taking care of your sick child, and the voice/Spirit Guide provided you with words of comfort and reassurance. You felt better when those words registered, didn't you? Most people never see the face of their Spirit Guide, not even unclearly. So, you must be very receptive to spirits. Another thought is you may have been seeing and hearing the voice of your child's Spirit Guide (which might actually make more sense.)

By the way, I don't believe live people can come to you in your dreams. I think when you see one of them in a dream, it only means they're on your mind, or have played a role in something your subconscious mind is trying to work out.

You may be very interested to read a book called, "Adventures of a Psychic" by Sylvia Browne. It's a highly enjoyable read, well written, and entertaining. Aside from that, I think you'll find it very eye opening.

the yank Dream is lifeless and has been lifeless because the 1980's. check out our present day authorities, the dream is gone. We lost the yank dream in the course of the first Gulf conflict. For the yank Dream to stay alive we ought to reveal our protection force superiority over all different international places. we haven't been able to teach that in two decades. on the instantaneous the individuals in American are extra in touch with what the authorities is going to grant then for free. we favor to take a step again and check out ourself. This u . s . changed into outfitted on hard work and exhilaration. i have not considered any hard work presently and little or no delight. Worst of all those who're operating hard attempting to keep this u . s . going are those who're being punished the worst. it really is the middle type that keep this u . s . shifting and on the instantaneous company u . s . and the authorities are seeking brand spanking new thoughts in which to take extra money from the middle type. What we favor to do is abandon the present style of authorities, redivide the country into small self sustaining states and form different international places. which will be the great answer for all events in touch.

Nope, you are not crazy. I've had my dad come to me more than once in my dream to comfort me over his passing. The last time I had this dream I was having a hard time w/his death. That dream was in 1998 and I am still comforted.

I've also had a dream/vision in which God spoke to me. What He said happened! I don't know if I was awake or not. But the dream had to do w/4 keys and what they symbolized. The next day I was walking and found 4 keys under a bench without a key chain. Just laying there...a gift from God.

Similar things have happened to me before. Once, when I was about 10, during a bad dream, I saw and FELT a hand cover my face. The hand made a wiping motion (as though to wipe away the bad dream). It happened very fast, and it woke me up. I immediately opened my eyes, and no one was in the room. I ran to my sister's room thinking it was her, but she was snoring. I have no idea who, or what, it was, but I sure am grateful to it. I figure, if I was meant to know who it was, or even whether it was "real", then I would have gotten more information. I don't need to figure it out.

Angels do exist, they watch over us constantly invisibly-- both the good ones and the bad.

Perhaps you had a good one addressing you. Hope it doesn't happen too often.

The dead are gone until the last day when some shall be resurrected. (If desired, see my profile for a homepage where this is discussed exhaustively down in the third division on the page)

I believe you can dream about dead people. I do it all the time. Interestingly enough, it always seems to be that I'm talking to them on the phone.

you're not going crazy.

I feel that this is quite possible ... and have experienced such "visitations", and confirmed a few by phoning next day ...
for the dead, this is, of course, not possible to confirm to standards of "objectivity" ....

I think you're fine. Be true to yourself.

Absolutely, my cousin always seems to come to me when I am not quite asleep (usually when he needs to talk), and he lives in TX... My mother-in-law came to me when she died and told me she wanted my husband to know she loved him and would watch over us. My friend Rolf come to me sometimes when he wants me to check on his sister in CA (he passed away in 2003) and other dead relatives have showed up in my dreams when I either need guidance or they want to talk. It's normal.

Litsen, what you experienced was a vision. It is possible for others (dead or alive) to visit you in a sleeping state.

Just remember there is no such thing as ghosts.
