Winter Park, even though this is a biased opinion because I used to work there. Great variety of terrain, great bumps, great backcountry (Berthoud Pass,) and great people, and some of the best groomers anywhere. Only thing bad about it is the nightlife, its pretty much non-existent.

It's by no means a resort.

The coolest day of skiing I've had in Colorado was the weekend they open up the Road from Estes Park to the top of Rocky Park. Drive up to the summit, find a line through the trees, maybe have to take the skis off to cross the road once or twice, and then thumb a ride back up to the top.

If I have to ride a chair....A-Basin. Great Terrain and you get a beer-buzz quicker there than any other resort due to the altitude!

I surely have many conventional places to ski in Colorado. My first determination could be Breckenridge, by way of fact the all people is friendly, the mountain is extensive, and it has many diverse runs, all at diverse tiers. I additionally love Durango. Durango Mountain motel is approximately 2 hours south of Telluride. it incredibly is a small motel, in spite of the undeniable fact that it nevertheless has extreme velocity lifts, relaxing runs, and a sparkling inn. final yet no longer least, Monarch is my conventional small scale ski section. There are short liftlines, long runs which incorporate powder, and friendly locals. it incredibly is placed north of Salida, Colorado. have relaxing playing in Colorado's barren area this iciness!
