I want to go to Valencia CC in florida to get a technical certificate in Medical Information Biller/Coder. Do you think it will be worth it? Do employers in the field recognize that certificate? Do any of you have that certificate or work in that field?

It would likely be recognized, but if you are thinking you'll be able to work at home doing this, you'd almost surely need at least a couple years of doing this type of work in an office or medical facility.

Community colleges often give as good or better training that the privately owned schools, at a fraction of the cost, so that's a wise choice.

Good luck.
