Yes it does. However that plant is Nicotiana x alata Saratoga so it's no where near as potent as the tobacco plant. But don't go eating it.

Nicotine is an alkaloid found in the nightshade family of plants (Solanaceae), predominantly in tobacco, and in lower quantities in tomato, potato, aubergine, and green pepper.

Top Tip: Crush the leaves and steep in water and use as spray for Aphids.

This site says that all parts of the nicotiana plant contain nicotine. I'm sure it doesn't contain the concentration of nicotine that is found in its cousin Nicotiana tabacum that is used for tobacco for smoking purposes.

no just a name given due to it's sweet smell
though plant itself is poisonous
