stress, anxiety. stroke? brain tumor! Mine twitches when I'm stressed. 33 year old male junior high teacher. Hasn't twitched in about a month and a half. Wonder why? LOL. Seriously, it is probabaly stress. Look at your life. Change your diet. Exercise more. Yoga. meditation. Get a massage. Get blind stinking drunk while hanging out with friends. Sex. (the last two only if you are of age, don't drive and use protection.) If it keeps doing it go see a doctor. They will just give you Xanax or Lexapro.

It's just a "tic" - a small involuntary muscle spasm. For most people it happens when they're a bit stressed, or if they're tired, and the eye, with all its tiny muscles (either above it or below) is a common site. If you've been dealing with something that has caused stress in your facial muscles, then that's probably all that's going on. The best cure is to simply relax, and maybe do something that's not so visually intense, like listening to a bit of music with your eyes closed. It should go away quickly once you relax :-)

sometimes you get a twitch if you are overtired. maybe you need to have a bit of destress time. if you live near the ocean, spend an hour or so by the beach, or near the mountains - somewhere quiet by a lake to read or snooze. get a couple of nights good sleep and try to eat a bit healthier for a couple of days

Are you under a lot of stress right now?
It could be stress. So try not to stress over your eyebrow right now. And if it doesn't stop in a few days maybe you see you Dr.

Twitching your eye is obviously not normal. Try to ignore the struggle to twitch your eye, like i used to move my eyes a lot when i was a kid. Try to stop doing it, you'll get used to it eventually.

Completely normal! Every now and then, rarely, it happens to me. You dont need to see a doctor-youll be wasting yours and their time.
