Its a great appetizer, absolutely delicious. Anything that has butter, olive oil, garlic and parsley in it is going to taste delicious. In my opinion, snails are like mushrooms -- they just pick up the flavors of whatever they're cooked in.

They taste just like the drawn butter, garlic, and salt you used to cover them, or else the dip you used.
