However, when it comes to cruises, bigger isn't always better - and neither is newer.
If you've never cruised before, go to your library and check out some books on cruising. Also, go to CruiseCritic.com and click on "Boards" and browse around. There are many, many variables in finding the right cruise for you and the only way to narrow them down is to do a lot of research. Have fun with it!!

Nicer, bigger ships. You'll enjoy the cruise a lot better. 5 years ago i went on the imagination, an older ship, but still nice. The rooms were small, but we had a good time. This past August, we went on teh Valor, and it was waaaaay better. The rooms were more spacious, the beds were comfortable, just an all around better ship. Go with the newer fleet.
