I'd go with the BMW. It's low mileage and a much nicer, higher end car. The ONLY advantage the MB has is that its new and once you drive it off the lot that isn't even true anymore.

If you want something that runs buy a Japanese car. Actually the American cars have gotten better reliability records now than the European cars.
Don't give me this buy American crap either because I bought a Ford truck before and it was built in Mexico. I just purchased a Nissan and it was built in the USA. So who is helping who. If we should get mad at anyone its the US automakers for building crap for so many years and then building more and more of their cars out of this country. No my fault, I got burned too many times by an American car company, so has my family. We gave them more than enough chances. Everyone in my family now drives either a Toyota, Honda or Nissan. You know what? We have far less headaches than before.

you should look at a new lexus, with the luxury of a merc or bmw and the reliability and backing of toyota you can't go wrong and it will cost you less in both the purchase and in the long run. and wont be nickel and diming you at every service
