I'm so sick of global warming skeptics. The whole thing is getting old.

ROCK HARD UNDEBATABLE FACT.

CO2 Is a greenhouse gas. The level of C02 in the atmosphere has increased to 384 ppm as of 2007. This is 30% higher then pre-industrial levels.

It is an undebatable fact that C02 increases the greenhouse effect. It is an undebatable fact that emissions of CO2 by human activities amount to about 27 billion tonnes per year (30 billion tons). There is no other natural cycle or any other event on Earth that creates this much C02

THIS CO2 IN THE ATMOSPHERE INCREASES SURFACE TEMPERATURES OVER TIME.

I hate biggots making statements that contradict scientific fact because denial is the most basic human reaction when an idea contradicts your established thinking process.

When we look at skeptics from now on we should analyze them psychologically as well. Perhaps they aren't enough to understand? Delusionism? Take a look around you. Drought, wildfires, increased sea level, ice caps melting, increased heatwaves, warming winters, hotter summers, what's it gonna take for these psychological delusionists to see the reality that human actions with fossil fuels, ie burning consuming oil, have a very negative and hazardous effect on the ecosystem of this planet?

I tell people yeah global warming exist and think they are stupid if they don't but they have points. It could be just all goverment rubbish and us geting to paranoid. It could be the earth go through warming cycles and cooling cycles all the time and we may just be experiencing it. Also we still haven't reached highest temperatures. Last time was like in the 1920's 1800's not sure. They have points though.

It has been the mildest year we have had in a lonnnng time down here in Houston.

Did you know that in the mid-30's most places in the USA recorded record highs that still hold?

Even if we average the "warming" trend, who says we won't be seeing global cooling in a few years?

How does anyone explain tropical plant remains under the frozen tundra of Alaska? My father worked on the pipeline up there and witnessed it first hand.

Well, if we bury our head in the sand and believe everything the media spouts about AGW, we would have to be pretty stupid.

But, if we spent the time to research the subject and look at the scientific data present, we must be pretty damn smart. It is not hard to sit in front of the TV and watch CNN, NBC, etc and learn nothing. but if you really want to get the true data, look at the scientific evidence. Sorry, but anyone who uses the words "consensus" and "scientific evidence" in the same sentence should start in kindergarten and work their way back up through the school system (and I am talking private education, not the public system joke).

BTW, I am guessing you actually mean Anthropogenic Global Warming and not Global Warming. But I am sure you know the difference.

it's not stupid to deny what may or may not be true. too often the information we are privvy to has been laced with political agendas. thereby leaving the masses to be leary of what is being told to us.

is what has truth, the only truth of reality?

i am sure that we are impacting the earth with the un-natural.
but, i am not convinced that global warming isn't the earth's own way of defending itself, or that it hasn't happened before.
we can only make assumptions.

people who deny global warming are not stupid, they are just rich enough to move inland when the water rises, and the money they are gonna use to move inland probably comes from some business that is causing global warming. and they don't care about anybody else and their problems. I think a lot of the public gets confused.
People dont really deny GW, they think it is really happening. What they deny or argue is THE FACT THAT IT WOULD BE MAN MADE (not a natural effect).
