Miss Hilton? is that you!? did you lose Tinkerbell again?
look hon, you don't buy a dog because it's "cute" or because it fits in a bag!
a dog is a living creature not a bracelet, or necklace. you can switch off a dog like a cell phone or put them away in a closet when you are done like this seasons shoes.
i really hope you don't have a dog. you want one for ALL the wrong reasons!
YOU, and ppl that think like YOU DO about dogs are the reason why 10,000-16,000 dogs are put down EVERY DAY!
this question has thoroughly disgusted me!

You can go to your local humane society and ask them to help you choose one. There's nothing cuter than a mutt that really needs a home. The famous Benji was a shelter mutt. If you're wanting a puppy, look for pups with tiny feet... some of the big dogs will fool you by being small as puppies, but you can always tell by the feet. Some dogs don't like wearing clothes, and I know you want it too :) so take a doggie t-shirt with you to the shelter and try it on some pups to see which ones like it, and which ones will just eat it! The shelter will also give you lots of info on what you need to do to keep your dog healthy, and can recommend a veterinarian. Have fun, and I hope you find a special little friend to be with you for years and years.

a dog is a living companion. A dog is not chosen by being "cute" and "purse-size". A dog is chosen by it's temperament and personality that suits the person.
A dog is NOT an accessory! It is not a pair of designer shoes, nor earrings. a dog is not something you carry around in your purse for vanity and attention, then go home and hang in your closet or put in a drawer.
A dog needs to walk, run and play.
Not being able to makes for a very unbalanced, unhappy neurotic being.
Sorry, sweetie, but Paris is far from a role model. She is spoiled little rich bimbo girl who has yet to mature and accept responsibility
Go and buy a pair of designer jeans instead

Dogs aren't fashion accessories. "Cute" is subjective. What you consider cute and what another considers cute could be entirely different. Regardless of what puppy you eventually get, please keep in mind that it will not always be a puppy. Research the breed and ensure the dog will be appropriate for your lifestyle. Be prepared to provide the care, attention and medical needs it will have. A dog is your responsibility for it's lifetime! Paris Hilton, Britney, and others started a very irresponsible "trend". Again, dogs are not fashion accessories. If you must have a small dog to put in a bag, go to Toys R Us and get a stuffed dog, please.

I think the cutest dogs ever are Norfolk Terriers! Coco, a Norfolk won the Westminster Kennel Club Show last year.
Here is some info on the breed:

Please do not go with the cutest small puppy. These are all the wrong reasons to buy a puppy. Pick the one that will fit your life style. Too many dogs that are picked because they are cute or small end up in pounds because the owner finds that the dog is not for them. Do your research about breeds and go from there.
